Protein Fudge Pops

Many of you have been asking about the protein powder I use and where I purchase it! The grass-fed whey protein powder I use can be purchased from True Nutrition¬†in tons of flavors. Though, I prefer the “natural” chocolate or vanilla. The natural formulas are sweetened with stevia. Make sure you use my coupon code (cknpun) to receive a 5% discount off your order!

My Protein Fudge Pops are the perfect post-workout snack. They are meant to replace your typical protein shake but they also make the perfect, warm weather snack! Now that the mercury is creeping up, the frozen snacks can come out and I am fudging exciting! It only takes 3 ingredients to make these delicious frozen snacks, plus one optional ingredient.

What you will need:

2 scoops (about a half cup) Chocolate Grass-Fed Whey protein powder

1 tablespoon cocoa powder

1/4 cup milk (I used coconut milk but any milk will do! If you are trying to rev up your fats, add heavy cream.)

Optional: Frozen Berries

Please note that you may need to double or even triple this recipe depending on the size of your popsicle molds. If you would like the pick up the popsicle molds that I use and love, you can find them here!

Simply add the first three ingredients to your blender, stand mixer, or food processor. You can also mix them by hand using a whisk however, expect some lumps! Once your fudge mixture is thoroughly combined, it is time to fill your popsicle molds! If you do not own a popsicle mold, an ice cube tray will do the trick. Just be sure that if you are using a popsicle tray to freeze the fudge pops for an hour before putting your popsicle sticks in so that they stand up straight. Fill each mold half way and then, if you would like, add a few frozen berries. They are berry good in this recipe. Then, fill up the rest of your molds! Place your fudge pops into the freezer for a few hours and tah-dah! You have healthy, frozen treats that taste an awful lot like a fudgesicle.

I had two very handsome helpers who kept me company in the kitchen while I developed this recipe. Many thanks to Rex and Buzz Lightyear:
